Delivery
UK domestic shipping
UK domestic shipping is £5. I use Royal Mail Special Delivery for all domestic parcels £30 or over. This is a tracked and insured service that requires a signature upon delivery.
I will post items between 2-4 working days. Orders are posted Monday - Thursday.
A tracking number will be provided for you to track your order.
International shipping
Ornate Alchemy is currently only available in the UK.
Shipping to the USA and Canada is coming soon. Please check back for updates.
Unfortunately shipping to Europe and Northern Ireland is not something we can currently offer. Any changes to this policy will be announced here.
Returns
Returns Policy
At Ornate Alchemy we want you to be happy with your purchase. My hope is that you will fall in love with a piece of jewellery and treasure it for a lifetime. To avoid unnecessary returns, I’d encourage you to check measurements and ring sizes carefully before making a purchase.
If you wish to return an item you have 14 days from receipt of the order, providing the item is in the same condition you received it and has not been worn.
Ornate Alchemy is not currently able to offer exchanges.
Returns Procedure
If you wish to return an item you must notify me within 14 days of receipt of order. Please contact me here so I can advise you through the returns process.
To ensure your item is returned successfully please read and adhere to the following:
Send your item back in a fully “re-saleable” condition. It should be unworn, unaltered and repackaged in the original packaging (to minimise any damage in transit).
If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
When returning your item you are strongly advised to obtain a proof of postage. It is also highly recommended that you use a tracked and insured service, such as Royal Mail Special Delivery, that will protect you against the value of the item. This is for your benefit as I cannot be responsible for any returned items until they are in my possession.
I am not responsible for any damage, or loss to the items that occurs before I receive them, including in transit.
Please retain your proof of postage until you have been notified by me that your item has arrived safely.
Please be aware that the buyer pays for return postage. Any costs incurred in returning unwanted items will be not refunded.
Your item will be examined once it has been received. Providing it is in re-saleable condition, your refund will be issued promptly.
In the unlikely event that your item is not in re-saleable condition it may be returned to you.
The following items are exempt from the returns policy:
Personalised items
Bespoke / custom / made to order items
Items that have been altered (e.g. resized)
Earrings (unless faulty) for hygiene reasons
