About Garden Quartz

  • Garden quartz (also known as Lodolite) is the name given to quartz which has moss-like inclusions - these different colours are created by the trace minerals trapped inside the crystal as it grew

  • Metaphysically it has connections to past lives and trance work as looking into its depths is like peering into another world

  • It has a hardness of 7 on the MOHs scale, but be careful with cleansing in direct sunlight - the inclusions can fade
